Search

Search
The default site Search is located at the top left of each page. This will search all entries in the resource database. It uses a boolean OR to match entries that include any of the search words within the Company, Title, or Keywords. Searches are case independent

Advanced Search
Located below the default Search box this allows a selective search on the Description or Company or Title or Keywords for Any Word or All Words or the Exact Phrase.

GET Search
You can also construct specialized searches using GET variables at the end of the url http://www.resourcedb.com/show.php. GET Variables are queries added after a ? on a URL. The full list of possible GET Names is provided in the table below. To use a GET search you add a GET Name=Search String query to the end of the show.php url. For example to construct a GET search for Bizpep in the Company field the url http://www.resourcedb.com/show.php?co=bizpep is used. Complex GET searches can also be constructed using a for in match query. For example to construct a GET search for Business Valuation in the Title field the url http://www.resourcedb.com/show.php?for=Business%20Valuation&in=title&match=term is used. Adding match=term to the query causes the full term "Business Valuation" to be searched for instead of the default search for any of the words in the for query. The %20 signifies a space and ensures that all browsers can interpret the query correctly.
